This entirely hand-stitched Elizabethan corset reconstructs the earliest surviving corset: the "Pair of Bodies" of Pfalzgrafin Dorothea Sabina von Neuberg, dating from 1598.
Dorothea is constructed from silk over a linen base and features a wooden busk, reed boning and hand-embroidered lacing holes.
