| Based on the 1603 "Effigy" corset discovered at Westminster Abbey, this silk-covered front-lacing corset effectively creates the elongated conical shape so characteristic of Elizabethan style.
The original "Effigy" corset is whaleboned, however this whale-friendly version is boned with reeds, another common boning material of the period.
